God gave us a great flight and we are here! Hard to believe it has been over a year of prayer and planning and we are finally on African soil. Praise Him we had no delays, no complications, and even our 2 "first-time flyers" had a positive experience. It was a long flight (with a quick stop in Senegal to refuel), but the kids were able to read, watch movies, journal, eat, and get a little sleep. We arrived on time and John Page, our South African host picked us up. After a quick bite at "Wimpy's Burger Shop" we settled in at the camp. Some debriefing and prayer time, and off to bed. Big day tomorrow so rest is a blessing.
